After the Town Crier informed us that a Royal Guard had moved to Rithiwc:

Town Crier tells you, "Renegade activity has increased since the discovery of their fort. Gabrielle, a Royal Guard, has moved to Rithwic to give us reports on the High Queen's findings." So we raced off to greet him. Turns out RG Gabrielle doesn't have many facts/information yet only rumors, here listen to it in her own words:

Royal Guard Gabrielle tells you, "Hail, friend. High Queen Elysa has asked me to keep citizens informed of increased Renegade activity. I've been informed, only recently, that there has been some activity amongst the Renegades in the Direlands Swamp. In fact, the rumors that I've received place the activity in a complex not far from where that strange portal found in the Blackmire Temple sends you. If you have the desire, please look into this for us."

Royal Guard Gabrielle tells you, "They must be stopped at all costs. Please, hurry there and stop them from assisting and meeting the Burun."

Back to the plantation, buff up and hit the Livik Lir's Temple Star Gate.

After a lot of running around and rumor swapping we eventually were able to determine that two locations in the Direland swamp area are currently key to the Renegade plans. The first being the Small Complex. As it is rather small, about 4 or 5 mid sized rooms with a couple of twisty corridors between them we were soon at the final room with it's 3 chests. However, even the most hung over adventurer couldn't help but notice there in the west wall a new tunnel had been carved out of the rock.

So a merry around this coorridor, down a ramp or two and we were suddenly in a huge formal hall. Paintings on the wall, Executive Desk and chair and a few Renegades not too keen on seeing us enter. After crushing the Tummies and the new Gotrok Fortress Gaurds

it was on to the Captian himself. But as he was now out numbered two to one went down rather quickly. Snagging a strong Iron key from his corpse we were ready to check out the other Renegade activity.

A short jog later we arrived at the Scalvus temple and immediately upon entery to the first main room noticed all the friendly scalvus had been run off by the Burun Renegades.

Our first trip to the final room was almost unbelieveable after the first room we saw nary a Burun and was beginning to think this would be a walk in the park. Stepping into the final room above the exit this illusion was quickly shattered by the horde of angry renegades. A spawn or two later as we were loosing ground to the flow of constant new arrivals we switched tactics. We charged the chest in the room and were gone to loot a scoot. Unfortuanately the key didn't fit the chest. So we pressed on to the down ramp in the center of the room. But, by stopping my attack to check the chest and then inform Arc the key didn't fit, let's go for the ramp. The size of the attacking force had swelled. Unable to get down the ramp and with a spell bar not efficently set up to attempt ring or wall spells I recall portalled to the front door to get organized. With a herd following after me Arc was able to make it down the ramp and into the portal exit room where a chest similar in size and shape to the Burun Burrow chest lies. He looted and recalled so we could try again.

This trip nearly every corner was a group of renegades and our progress back was much slower. Taking the time to test the ring and wall spells I found them not to be as effective as several normal blasts. Arc wanted a machine gun! Even with his maxed out coord/bow if he dropped his accuracy under 75% they evaded too much.

Stopping short of the final upper level room we lured most out and killed as many as we could. As they were fixing to regroup we rushed the ramp and made tracks to the exit room. Turns out you get far enough away that any respawns upstairs don't come down and you only have to deal with those that followed and the several on guard duty below.

Be leary though, like their brethern above these guys recycle quickly. So don't waste time talking and admiring stuff. Use the key, loot and scoot. Chest has a letter, some heal kits and a bracelet.

Use care in looting and suggest, while it can be dangerous a minute or so between uses.  Turns out Arc got one heal kit in his chest (some pinhead melee had entered before we ran back and beat feet for the exit without stopping to kill anything) while I got ten kits.

Reports are in:  The critters at the bottom spawn fast.  After the chest is looted it locks and slowly fills back up.  After each mob spawn another kit is added. Check the bu of the chest after each spawn.  Kits weigh 65bu so it goes up 65 each time to a max of 6475bu.  When it hits that it is full (10 kits).

While Arc isn't impressed with the Kits, since the Plentiful are better, I counter yes but these are easier to get (rare bobo reward or giving up a sing key) versus a tought battle or two every month.
