Trying to compile a list of quests that new folks or returnees should at least be aware of.  How often you heard from someone gone for 6 months or a year say, "what's new?".  Where do you begin?

This listing is far from complete and depending when they left the realme and/or stage of development at that time, any individual quest may or may not be important. 

But it is a start, besides mentioning these:

Our dl's are a bit out of date as with all the beta (decal and plugins) at the moment best to go straight to the developer's site/forum for help assistance.  Once out of beta will have dl's available of the commonly used plugins.

However, these quests/items might be considered worth knowing about for new returnees or completely freshly starting players:

Quest Title Information
ALL or significant part of quest requires ToD upgraded account. E.G., Grael Gems: flagging and 1st and  2nd of 3 dungeons are DM accessable, but the final all important dungeon for gem reward requires ToD.
   
Abayan Laboratory/Study

Nice xp for 70+ fellow, while the study 80/85+ or higher has stackable mcm no-bane gaunts as reward and is a nice place for 100-115 mage to solo for xp and peas to sell for a nice profit without burden.

Aegis Shield

The old absorb magic seplls one, there is a new and improved version I've not been on yet.

Upgraded NEW version is the Caliginous Aegis shield.

Aviator's Cap War Room has lots of drudges on quick spawn, big dungeon so group of 100-126 mages can spread out and make good XP without much danger. Reward cap funny looking but not useful.
Aerlinthe Lady Aerfalle - Reservoir section Change here, get scarfical dagger or not, impacts what can be done in the keep.
Aerlinthe Lady Aerfalle - Keep Section Turning in dagger or not affects version of Lady to be faced and reward (recall scroll or no recall scroll).
Alduressa Shadow Armor Appears to be either flagging for soon to be introduced Alduressa GSA or reminding newer players about GSA NPCs.
Augmentation Gems, 125+ ToD only, various quests to enhance abilities/skills ranging in cost of 500M to 5B some one time only, some repeatable a couple of times.
Balor's Kidnapping from Linvak Tukal Fairly easy for 80ish melee and you get that nice 420SL for use against the hollow luggies be they withered or PotB variety.
Bandits of the Creepy Chambers For staff toons a nice 350 slash staff.
Blackmire Temple I (aka BM), BM II , BM III , BM IV & BM V BM armor (moderate spells), fellowship spells, hookable protal devices.
Bleeargh's Stolen Items Rewards aren't much couple nice ones; HOWEVER, when the silver mosswart statue is mansion hooked each of the six equate to a level of item spells. Do all six of his quests use statue 6 times learn ALL item spells 1-6. New spell, Lifestone sending, in game only way to learn.
Bracelet of Dark Essence Nice dual major bracelet, stam and health gain. Need to update the quest writeup as portal has been moved to Obs Plains{62.4S 71.1W}.
Brewer's Quest Gets one giveable Brewer's pot, cook uses to make beers.  Six very special beers involve Tusker Spit or Moarman's Muck to make 50+ 30 minute elixier to str, end, coord, quick, focus and self.
Burun Kings quests I-VI Noble armor (moderate equivalent stuff) once infused with gems is ok if you don't have a full suit of Majors.
Candeth keep Co-Founder Flags toon for entry into treetop portal in Candeth Keep, which accesses the 3 treetop merchants that buy loot at 100% value, great for making more pyreals.TD>
Eater Jaw, Abhorent 90+ Turn in for 15M XP or use on one time ToD Skill Credit Quest.
Eater Jaw, Ravenous 110+ Turn in for 35M XP or use on one time ToD Skill Credit Quest.
Eater Jaw, Insoluent 125+ Turn in for 40M XP, use on one time ToD Skill Credit Quest, or save for the Augmentation Gem Quest.
Font of Jojii Once flagged individual can use house hooked font (one of 4 possible rewards from quet) for stackable +2 to strength, focus and coordination (3 hour).
Gaerlan Repeat several times to get all the rewards, some ok some nice. e.g., ring of intellect with it's moderate mcm.
Gelite Library for reward of Nuhmudira's Bestowment, or Callous Heart/Bloodstone Jewel Choice in library part determines which reward path you can go on Major Magic resist necklace or +30 to health necklace.
Grael Books Entire quest gets you 100, 100, 150K but the true reward is five gems of Grael that add +3 to max damage, for about 2 hours, to meelee or missle weapons.
Harbinger Good way to save 350/306m and get that final/trained spec point every 90days. Or use buy/sell tokens and get 350M every 90days for hour's worth of questing.
Hidden Entrance 2 rings 2 bracelets that if you have spec magic skill and 370+ base the jewelry provides more then level 7 buffs to the magic skill. Don't have a full major suit, nice robe that provides +8 to melee/missile/magic Def. Plus other misc stuff.
Hunter XP Quests ALmost all levels have something, where out hunting critter X talking to NPC Y first assigns quest to kill Z amount.  Return and you get extra XP reward - repeatable in 2 weeks.
Monster Seeds: Red, Yellow and Orange House hooked potted plants provide nice moderate recovery rates of H/S/M if you don't have majors to cover them.
Olthoi Pincers 70 and 80+ Old Evis/50+ pincer downgraded to 2M when these two were added, 3M and 10M respective.
PainBringer Quest itself gets nice looking mage stick with monkey head on it, however beyond the dungeon boss monster is NPC Jonas. Jonas accepts SIKs and returns random XP and value items to sell for profit. Great use of keys if you can sell at Candeth Keep's tree top.
Rations, simple and elaborate Cook uses pot on dried simple or elaborate ration, purchased at nearly every food store, to make stack of 25 rations - 75 or 100 to stamina, respective.  Using one of two herbs on dried ration lets cook make Mana and Health variations.  Heavier then old Heath Trade Elixiers, but quicker and easier to make.
Refulgent Bracelet Triple Major: +15 Health/Stam/Mana
Skill Credit, ToD One timer per char quest for reward of Skill Credit.
Temple of Xih Minru Coral ring for Major Flame Ward and Dyes for Ancient Armor (BM I-V quest reward)
Three Towers, Focus Stone Get the keys to do the focus stone quest +4 to magic skills when equipped
Ulgrim's Casting Stein Used by a lot of melees to aid buffing.
Undead Mechanic LONG quest thru 20 dungeons. More of a way to re-introduce folks to old dungeons of years ago that got updated. Completion of 20 nets 3.5M or so for item turns as reward and a pair of moderate quick Walking boots.
Vissidal Isle, gaining access to Higher level melee hunting grounds.
Zaikhal Defender Platinum=100+ Helm has major str and endurance, coat major quick, moderate coord and minor str.
